Today while driving to work, my long lost untouched blog struck my mind. The recent inability to construct my sentences properly reminds me that i should start bloggin all over again. I should summarise the first 3/4 of 2013 was bad. The reason i bold was is it will be the past. Close friends would have know exactly what happen to this extraordinary year. With much positivity, i had moved on, looking forward to a new life. I've been seeing dragonflies so much more than i would in my life. Last night i dreamt of a dragonfly scaring me! I naturally had a phobia on flying insects, so dragonfly is not an exception. A search of its meaning brings me this: What does it mean if a dragonfly spirit shows up in your life? Happiness, Speed, and Purity. The meaning of dragonfly signifies happiness, speed and purity. Purity because the dragonfly eats from the wind itself. The dragonfly also represents transformation and life’s ongoing process of change. Self Realization. The dragonfly is able to show itself in different colors depending on the angle and polarization of light falling on it. This magical ability is associated with the discovery of one’s own abilities by unmasking the real self and removing the doubts one casts on his/her own sense of identity. Joy and New Light. In Japanese culture dragonflies represent joy and new light. When you see a dragonfly, enjoy its presence and be content knowing it represents good things. Prosperity, Harmony, and Good Luck. In China, people associate the dragonfly with prosperity, harmony and as a good luck charm. Emergence of True Colors. Dragonflies come in varied colors; their bodies often blue, orange, green, and purple. Their wings seem to shimmer as if made of silver. These bright colors take time to develop, expressing the idea that with maturity our own true colors come forth. They represent moving past self-created illusions that limit growth and change in the perspective of self-realization with an understanding of the deeper meaning of life. Living in the Moment. Dragonflies live only for a few months. The short life span symbolizes the virtue of living in the moment and living life to the fullest. This ability lets you live your life without regrets like the great dragonfly. Interesting read! Being fortunate enough to be attuned with Usui Reiki blessed me with alot of positivity, hope and a different perspective. In any difficult situation, i know i wont be render helpless. Most importantly, it helped me through the most difficult period of my life. Of coz, the power of friendships played a big big part too. I really look forward to the new part of my life. A position which no other people can replace easily. A big challenge with lots of self discipline. Wish me luck!
