I have a confession. I have to admit that I cannot cope with so many pets and a baby. All pets have taken a second place now.
It was only what i found out yesterday that struck me real hard. MuFFin was sent to her usual groomer for her trim. My groomer usu weighs her and was shocked to find that she lost so much weight since last visit. We do notice that she slimmed down alot but didn't really realized the figure.
She has been having this symmetrical wound on both her elbows for a month or so. No matter how often we apply the cream, it did not seem to make a full recovery. My groomer told me this kind of wound is usu seen on big dogs and is caused by abrasion. Thinking back, I do not find my kitchen tiles rough at all. But all in all, it showed how terrible an owner I have been.
She no longer has as much walk as before. She's at home for almost 12 hours alone. And, when she made a mess, we were all upset.
I thanked my groomer. She gave me a real good wake up call by just updating me the condition of my dogter. I told Yida we need to make a change.
This morning, MuF and I took a very short walk around the facade downstairs. Fearing of ticks, I decided that the stairs are the best place to work out. We climbed 14 floors of stairs, could feel the "jelliness" of my legs. But it felt good, it feels that we have connected once again. She did not bark when I leave the house today.
I found a small wound on her toe again and wonder what has cause it. Sprayed silver on her, put in Bach flower globules in her drink. I repeated told her not to lick herself today as I took the risk by removing her E collar. God help me with that!
I will try my very best to balance my animals and family! The best encouragement for now would be returning home and find MuFfin with dry feet and no mess!
I love you, MuFFin!
