Dr Tong has significantly changed from the last time I saw him many years ago. He used to b a very humble vet but now there is this arrogant cloud. Not only that, he was very impatient with MuFFin. As you all know my girl, she was super timid to strangers. This was what happen at the vet:
1) muffin arrived on the table of the vet. Dr tong wants to handle her but she refused. So his assistant came to restrain her. Her head was sandwiched at the inner part of the elbow. With such traumatizing events going on, muf has no choice but to struggle. The more she struggled the harder the assistant restrain. I could see muffin's eyes. I saw her trying her best to slip through that deadly angle. Alot of struggles went on. She finally squirted her anal gland and all let loose.
2) she went to one of us and then poo on the card the vet was writing on. I said let my husband hold her. He agreed. I went over and remove the E collar she was wearing. To the biggest shock of my life, i saw blood on the E collar! On closer look, my girl was nose bleeding! I questioned why is there blood? Dr tong mentioned could be due to ticks! I was thinking with just three ticks found on her, how to develop tick fever?? Or that one condition called erlichiosis?? Anyway, Yida restrained her. But with only TWO tries to examine muffin, he got impatient. And had a change in his tone that he insisted his assistant to hold her. I knew I have no choice but I nd to calm my girl before any worse thing happened. For once I remembered I am equipped with reiki. With what April learnt during animal reiki, I applied it in btw her ears. Effectively she calmed down with little resistance. The assistant restrain her again n I watched in fear. Luckily she didn't resist while I put my palm on her head. All procedures were done at that moment.
3) after checking thoroughly, he said the bleeding was probably due to stress. I'm like WTF I think it's inappropriate handling of animals! Disappointed! Then he said if we restrain her she wun b guai guai for him to do the test. Ya right lo as if! If they can restrain her properly at the start I will believe. I only believe my reiki help muffin gReatly.
Dr Hsu let us hold the animal lo. What rubbish!
I will never go there again unless i cannot find a vet!
