I have huge problems after moving into my new house.

1) I need to reach home before 730pm. I cannot bear the fact that my pets have so little human interaction time.

2) I need to go pick Rye right after work. By public transport, the latest i reach home is 7pm. And i need to leave immediately in order to reach home before 730pm (hopefully). Morning shuttling should be Yida's job if he takes the car

Now, by public transport with a non-walking Rye and a pump bag, it will def be hectic. Reaching destination by 730pm do not mark the end of my day. It seemed that having a car would be the only way to lessen my load. Yida was hesitating to buy COE car.. those that left with a year or two kind. But i seriously think it's not wise as we would need to come up with another 2k plus every year for road tax, parking and insurance.

We quarrelled. He claimed that he needs to run ard for meetings. I insisted that he borrowed car from his colleague but i guessed his ego just didn't agree. Another way is, i take public transport from my workplace to my mum's place. After which i take cab back to my home.

What do you guys think? I hope to have a solution. Things will get better when Rye turns 18 months, where i can enrolled him into a childcare in Punggol.

Do u have to shuttle little Ryker from your Mum's home to your new house everyday?

Another cheaper alternative is to stay in your house until Ryker turns 18 months before enrolling him to child-care lor...

But I seriously think u need a car, public transport with baby and a huge bag during the usual office hours is stressful for you wor~

Very tiring for your leh, still need to feed your pets also?

oh ya must check the reputation of the child-care in Punggol whether they are hygienic etc.... cos kids that age has weaker immune system.

Ya hor.. yr idea is not bad leh... i stay at home till he turned 18 months... then go back to work plc... really need to shuttle him EVERYDAY.... n rush home

Ryker will attend CCC in June 2011? So it's 5 months if you take no pay leave. Plausible, right?
Part-time? Maybe can discuss with boss.
