My heart was palpitating while the technician was trying to do the scan. The lady suddenly emerged with a smile behind the screen which made me wonder what's happening on it. She turned the antique computer screen to me and below is what i saw:

My baby sucking the thumb! My hb was asked into room shortly. Baby didn't cooperate for him to have a proper view. The little one was doing a head stand, hiding his hands. Lol, the technician joked that baby don't want daddy to see and daddy need to pay more effort next time. Haha right after, our baby swam up and lie nicely to show daddy how he touched his face with his little hands.
I kept peeping at the figures she typed on the database but i think she purposely left the NT measurement out. So i asked. She kept avoiding. I got worried la. But after me being irritating, she told me nothing weird. All within range. Phew. It's a relief. But she said need to wait for blood test results before confirming. At least my mind is at peace for now. We proceeded to the laboratory where i got my most painful blood withdrawal ever! While waiting, hb was given the printout of the scan from the lady. It was clear but on a normal A4 white paper. He obviously don't like the material the scan was printed on.
Our gynae appointment is at 930am. Fortunately, despite the delay in getting the request form, we still managed to finish the test at 920am! Best part was the clinic was empty for once! Woohoo! I registered and tested my urine. Then my gynae came to take my weight and blood pressure. Oh, i put on 800g. Phew! That was how free my gynae was for once. Apparently, the first appointment at 9am was held up due to the temperature check at the entrance of TMC. So i was the first to see the doctor.
As usual, normal discussion about how have i been. MS? and of coz the scan i just did. The blood test results would be out later in the evening or tomorrow morning. I knew my hb didn't like the piece of paper so i whispered and asked if he wanted my gynae to scan at her side. He kept reiterating "see you want a not.." Argh.. so lor so! I told my gynae right away that my hb didn't like the scan and asked if she could do for us again. She didn't reject of coz. First patient in the morning, i think she had lotsa of energy for us. Haha. Actually, i did hestitate to ask coz need to pay for the extra scan ma.
Once again, our baby appeared on his headstand stunt! The head was further towards south prior to this pic. Hb say he very silly haha. Baby was active compared to the previous check. =) Before we knew it, he had swam to a comfortable position.
He is so much bigger today @ 67mm. Grown so much from the tiny dot in the first visit. If you looked back at the first pic of the day, you can see five fingers. Hee.. so cute. This pic didn't show his leg coz he was moving too fast. The biggest surprise today was the gender of the baby. I did asked the technician if can see anything but she said no. Either my gynae was good or my baby had a good position, something was spotted in between the legs during the second scan.
Can you spot it? She wrote a ?boy coz gender can only be confirmed at 16 weeks. But she did say likely to be.
In case you still have no idea where is the pee pee....
Oh hb managed to remember to video today! We have 2 vids today. Don't be alarm by the suddenly black out of the first coz my hb got butter fingers. Haha!
