I had a very spiritual afternoon with Huishan and April today. It was our first two attunements for reiki. It felt like a baptism. Haha.. we were both excited and nervous. The master did not just go ahead with attunement. He did well in educating what we are going into. During the first attunement, we had to sit on chairs back to back in a circle with our eyes closed, legs on the floor and palms on thigh. Music and incense were infiltrating the atmosphere of the room. I heard the master walked around and felt his energy both front and back of me. Intense warmth was felt at my back while he was doing symbol thing behind me. My hands were guided in several position before the attunement end.
It was just amazing. April felt the most sensation among the three of us. She could even feel the energy directing towards her sprained ankle. After the first attunement, the master go thru the booklet about chakras and auras with us. He taught us how to see auras. Huishan couldn't see it though, but i guessed it takes practices. I'm lucky to see my own and April saw it really fast. Second attunement was a breeze. It wasn't as tense as the first.
Just like that, i could perform some reiki. I tried on MuFFin while she was lazing ard. I hovered on her hind leg. Initially, she was still engrossed in her stoning ... after a short while, she turned her head towards my hand. Thoughts must have run through her mind. haha, she stood up and walked away then came back and lick my hand. Did she felt it? I guess so.
Hope i can put Reiki to great use. I aimed to treat my mum's back ailment too.

I think Garlic can see energy around me leh, when I'm doing Reiki for her, she keep looking around me like there are things flying around but I didn't see anything!! Not even a fly!! Then she proceed to stare above my head and above my both shoulders, I wonder if that's my Aura she's looking at and if Reiki changes Aura, later go ask Lawrence. =P
