I went to Times Bookshop today so as to get a book in jiffy. After a quick glance at the 'Pets' section, i hurried to the cashier and asked for the wanted book. She told me there were only two copies left. I went search high and low but in vain. Fortunately, the girl at the cashier was kind enough to search for me. I am very glad to find the books all wrapped up nicely in plastic. The immediate thought was "Oh, it's very new! Still in plastic!" Without even choosing from the two copies, i took the top one and hastily paid then rushed home.
When everything was settled at home, i took out my buy from the plastic bag and got the biggest shock!!!

This was the book i bought. The most obvious sign of not a new book was that HUGE fold at the corner of the cover! OMG! I HATE it when my book becomes like that!
Look at the intensity of the fold! It must been folded for a million years to create that deeeeeppp line!
Do you think it's just that corner? NO!

The cover was obviously folded into half by some inconsiderate customers browsing through it! That MARK was a proof! ARGHHHH!
Does it still look like a new book to you?? NOT to me anymore.
Look at THIS!!
Damn it! I was totally blinded by the NICE packaging of the book. And obvious they rewrapped the book so that busy people like me wun notice!! DAMN IT!
And guess what?
It was NOT cheap!!! FREAK!
I SO WANNA SCREEEAAAAMMMM!!! From now on, i will give up buying from local bookstores. I only trust Amazon to give me a brand new book that look fresh and hot from the publisher!!
I SERIOUSLY HATE MY BOOKS TO BECOME LIKE THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
