Almost a week from now. Here are some updates for FruiTy. Oh, i have changed its name from FooTy to FruiTy. Haha
I did 2 times feeding for 2 days and found FruiTy desperately begging for food when i came home. I weighed it and realised it was not enough. So i did three times by bring it to work secretly. One before i go to work, one during my lunch, one before dinner. The fourth times will depends if it begged. Initially the feeding was 10mL each, but yday and today it stopped at 8mL. I guessed it's finally showing good signs of weaning. Sprout seeds like pumpkin, mung beans, quinoa and lentils were introduced as weaning food. I gave some papaya which she didn't take. She accepted broccoli pretty well though. Good thing that she prefered sprout seeds than seeds. One thing bad about it was she started to become defensive over its sleeping tent. It will lunged towards your finger and this behaviour was prominent at night. Strange isn't it? Should i remove the sleeping tent?

Eating sprouted mung beans

Willing to venture onto broccoli

Playing with seed
Some modification was done to FruiTy's cage after a long shoppin session at several pet shops. Finally found some chinchilla's wooden platform that could be mount on e side.

There! I used tissue paper to lay on the wood as it will def poo on them

I guess i would stop here for now except to add on toys. Hope to go San diego for more stuffs.
The stump got a little redder than usual. Sigh... but i guess i still have to reinforce a little discipline over the aggressive at such young age.
Here's a funny pic of fruiTy:

Aiya, let her keep her tent. She loves it!
Have you tried peas? They are good for weight gaining.
I tried peas.. those from frozen veggie mix. FruiTy don't really like it yet. But the other two birdies relish peas!
