I am blogging this with my tired legs and half close eyes. Have to add that i went tennis yday and today we went for an adventure.

Guess? Aiya, see the entry title you sure know liao ma.....
If you have read MuFFin's blog, you would have know we love her to explore the nature's scents. So once again, i took her beautiful 'windy' shots.

There! All so artistic right?
We finally attended the dog hash after so many invitations from Grace. And today, she attended with her friend, Fred, plus her beloved Border Collies, Blessy and Coral.

The caucasian lady is not the only ang mo there. In fact, 80% of the people were caucasian.

See what i mean? Well, i guess Singaporean dog keepers are not as onz as the foreigners when it comes to dog keeping. They really love their dogs to the core! Nice! I thought MuFFin was the second smallest dog there but now i saw a Chihuahua in the pic.

This was the area we went hashing at.
We were very wary about unleashing as her obsessed sniffing may get her lost. Nevertheless, we tried.

Initially, she got all hype and excited over the new place. Running up and down sniffing, of course. And we realised that she was much more confident when off leash. I guess without a leash, she felt that she could run away from easier fr things she dun like.

She started off sniffing a dog's butt

Then slowly venture to sniff big dog's. Oh, that's Blessy between.

See? Mostly were big dogs. You see the German Sheperd? She's called ShaSha. Very sweet dog, was running in front of me but when her owner slowed down, she stopped and blocked the road just to wait for her owner. As the owner came into her vicinity, she sprinted off again. MuFFin did what she did too. Just that she never wander so far till we were out of sight. She was always between us. If Yida or me was behind, she would turn her head every now and then to make sure we are there. To whoever in front, she would follow so closely till our leg could hit under her chin. HeeHee!
The whole group were to follow the trail marked by toilet paper and chalk. The first part was a narrow stretch of path. So narrow that only one person can go through each time. We went the last, coz MuFFin got abit castrophobic. I had to go in first and encouraged her. She only followed suit when both of us were very much further in. After she made it, she ventured onto the slope at the side where grasses were tall and thick. She turned into a rabbit hopping in and out the deep patch as she got worried about the depth. Everyone who saw it laughed at her. Haha!
I didn't take much pictures throughout as we were all sweaty and MUDDY!

I was behind her.... she was focusing on where yida goes.

She waited for me by looking back but Blessy made her a lil nervous. Well, she was not very well socialised. Our fault!

We only managed to take one photo at a dead end. This was the closest to nature for dogs! The group had a GR who war-cry every now and then like a signaller for the rest to follow. The GR was such an adventurer who weaved in and out the bushes, ventured into the jungles and rolled in the muddy water.
For me, the worst part of the trail was to cross the stream. It was muddy with lots of slopes!!!! I cringed when my leg sank into a really soft wet soil. My sport shoes were all wet inside out!! Yikes!! Oh, before we crossed the stream, MuFFin was behaving strangely. She just sat still at a spot every now and then or she would jump at us. We thought that there could be ants biting her. And true enough we found quite a number. She had probably stepped into a detestable ant nest! Anyway, she looked really uncomfortable so i asked Yida to carry her through the stream. The end point was a few more SLOPES up the stream lo!!
We weren't the first.

I saw this when we reached the end. Most of them had already make themself comfortable by sitting in their stools.

Grace and me with Blessy (i think) and MuFFin

See the whole tired bunch of people
We picked up MuFFin to find more ants to squeeze! It was SO many that we decided to drench her down with mineral water.

Think she felt better after the rinse.

There were refreshments after the hash. Sprite, 100+ and mineral water with bee hoon, curry and fruits. There were dog's biscuits too!
A get-to-know session was conducted as a finale thingy. Since Yida and I were 'virgins' (as what they called the first timers), we got special treatment.

Beer in dog's bowl!

Fred, Grace's friend, also lost his virginity today. Haha!

Bottoms up!

Grace got sabo to drink too!!! That was not all. All Singaporean (only 6) were given a toast in dog bowl for hosting the great Grand Prix. The organiser was obviously fr UK coz he asked who won the third place (Lewis Hamilton did) and booed the Italians. LOL.
The best part about going to hash was that you have eyes watching while you eat!

Since both our shoes were wet, we ended throwing our socks away and walked on our bare foot home. For sure, we would attend the next dog hash in November.
