We woke up at wee hours on Saturday morning for a long waited trip to this place.
Sentosa's Tanjong Beach!
I didn't manage to snap the opposite shore of the area we played in. If you have been to Tanjong Beach, there is this lagoon like area where an 'island' was built there to break the huge waves. Yap! That was where we swam to and fro from the main beach. With MuFFin of coz!! To our surprise, she jumped into the water more readily than ever. Probably due to us, being ready to swim today. The weather was perfect. Not too hot for the nowadays crazy weathers. The water was warm, just nice for a morning swim. =) We stripped down to our swim wear and soaked ourselve till the neck level. Called out for the girl twice and we headed for the opposite shore. She tested the water first and before she could decide on anything, her body leaped into the water. She rather not risk losing us! LOL How sweet was that silly girl. Usually, in any short laps, she would swim to me first. Then i would carry her in my arms till she's ready for the next lap. Now that, we were all swimming, she STILL swim to me first. Although she started late off the shore, she was fastest! And of coz, she swam to me first, trying to get me to get her out of the water. I can't! I was swimming first time with head up! lol. So i ignored her. Realising that i will not be giving her any help, instead of going to Yida, she swam as fast and as hard as she could to the opposite shore. As she swam past me, i could hear the hard breathing from her. Her tail wagged like a propeller while she swam past us. Haha.. To me, she seemed happy. Upon reaching the shore, there wasn't any signs of tiredness, she was doing her favourite thing => sniffing all over.
We really hate her obsession in sniffing so we headed back to the shore. The usual thing we did, called out to her twice and off we go. She was still sniffing. Just then when she realised we went ahead with our plans, she hastily followed suit. The same things happened like the previous lap.
That was the longest lap ever for the girl. On top of that, she has these numerous short distance to swim. Yida would play catching with her. It was MuFFin catching him, never him go after her. That's e rule of playing catching with dogs! Nowadays, she would go follow and greet dogs on the beach. Getting more comfy with big dogs. How nice =)
Before we ended the beach session, a brief rinse was done to the girl at the footbath. A GR and JRT walked out of the footbath with their owners. We weren't bothered by them so we just do what we wanted to. To our horror, this idiot muffin go follow them till the carpark. The more Yida recalled, the more he got worried. He ran out to find her at the carpark with the two dogs! He made another call again. MuFFin then realised she wandered off too far and quickly ran back by the EXACT route she took. Best part was she ran past Yida, not realising he's there! Sometimes i wondered if she has any eyesight or nose problem. I was waiting at the footbath all the time watching over our stuffs. The ringing of her bells announced her arrival. I happily called her and carry up in my arms. There wasn't any scolding AT ALL. If you did, she will think that she get scolded by coming back. So we just move on to her rinsing then hooking her back to leash. No point getting angry. She has moved on and probably forgotten about the fact that she wandered off.
We walked her to Palawan Beach where the human toilets were fantanstic. That was where we changed out of our 'wet suits'. Luckily, i brought some biscuits and treats out for the girl. She was famished. I fed her a little while waiting for Yida and continued the walk to Siloso Beach. Haha, sounds tiring uh? We were waiting for her to dry before we could hop on any cabs. The sight of Delifrance made us hungyr and thus we rested our foots there to have breakfast. It was freaking expensive breakfast.
And here i present my ugly girl girl. Unkempt.
After the sumptuous meal, we easily hopped on to a cab WITHOUT any booking! Yipee!!! Muahahhahaha. Throughout the journey, my dogter was super duper tired.
She slept like there was something underneath Yida's leg. Lol!
My day didn't end like that. It continued its way to NTU where Yida has to do some recordings to his project for his presentation on a hot SCORCHY afternoon!
This is his FYP project. To do up an unmanned golf car with input of data. This was only in its very infant stage. He made a program to read the data.
This was how the program looked like.
Some testings he had to do before driving the thing out for filming.
When things were done, i held the doors for his golf car. I accidentally released one side of it. And it did something really bad to my toe.
Nice? The edge of the door flip my toenail backward. At first, i only tot my nail was destroyed. But after a while, the blood ooooooozzzeeeeeeddddd out! It wasn't as painful as it looked. Really!
Pretending to drive this thingy but failed badly. I can't drive!
While Yida was driving, i'm camwhoring.
This was the place where the filming was to take place. I really tot it was going to be a short one. But Yida blurness prove me wrong again. We at least repeated 20 times?
Before the whole thing started.
With this kind of weather, i can't leave my hair down for too long.
That was a forced smile.
Repeating the run AGAIN!
ARGHHH!!!
And finally at around 3pm, we settled with this:
AFter this tortorous afternoon, we still go to army market to settle his uniform stuffs. Came home and bathed the girl then went out to attend my grandfather birthday dinner. We came home late at 11pm, drained. We dripped two drops of peppermint and lavender then hit the pillow.
That was my BUSIEST Saturday! But i am addicted to go sentosa every week.
