I did an experiment on home ear candling on Yida. He was a good guinea pig with that huge amount of ear wax building up. But...... it was a failure. All experiments have a protocol to follow but i didn't. I started the experiment without reading the whole protocol.

Lighted the candle........... in his right ear... You can see that he already felt very shiok liao....
And then, while holding onto the candle, i used my foot to scroll down the page. To my horror, i needed a toothpick, a bowl of water and a scissors!!! On top of that, i need to check on the candle every 3 mintues.

I panicked! The fire would not wait for me. Without the scissors, i can't trim off the burnt section. The smart alex me used the aluminium foil to pinch off and caused the ashes to fly around the bed. The bowl of water was needed to extinguish the fire without too much smoke, i went to blow it off, resulting in mega smoke effect with exquisite smell in the aircon room. Wahhahahaha, what do you expect when all the things i needed wasn't there with the fire burning? I learnt my lesson. So the other ear was much well controlled. He said the suction was much better as i keep trimming away the burnt part.

The other ear. It looked as if the litted candle will drop off anytime scalding him. Haha.... I was worried too but he said it suck better hahahhaahha....

Trimming away the burnt part helps to improve circulation in the ear. See the line there? It was e ending point where i should extinguish the whole thing in the bowl of water.
At the end of the session, i was looking for 'gold' J had mentioned. I even poke through the whole candle but only found some yellow sponge like thingy. Later then i realised that i have to roll open the candle for gold digging! WASTED! By the time i knew that fact, it was in the bin. Oh, i did this secretly! Cannot let his mum know, later she thinks i'm doing something harmful to her son. haha. Anyways, i dug his ears alittle after that. I could see some sucked up half way there. It was a pity that pictures inside the ears were impossible to take.
