It was unusual that we woke up as early as 6am on a Saturday morning. Of course, we refused to get off the bed and continuously snooze the alarm till 7am. Haha, coz the sky appeared red so we thought we can sleep abit more to observe the weather. Anyway, when the sky got brighter, it showed a clearer green light to make our adventure @ Bedok Reservoir for the day. So we quickly washed up and changed into exercise gear, prep MuFFin and Twinkle and DaTing and off we go!
It was a distance of 2km, quite little i feel, haha probably with the good weather it wasn't that heavy afterall. MuFFin was still very energetic while Twinkle and DaTing were vocalising in their carrier with the wild birds around. Super noisy!! I'm glad my precious babies could get the early fresh air!

The early route to Bedok reservoir via Tampines Park Connector! Singaporeans are not early birds. I think it rained last night. The ground was still wet.
Upon reaching the reservoir, i released DaTing and Twinkle out of the carrier. Yida handled Twinkle while me handled the other two. All were quite stable then. As we approached nearer to the reservoir, we heard some voices that sound like it was from mic. Unfortunately, they had a school event there. I think it's road run or something. So before they started, we quickly took chance to do walk whereever we wanted.

This was the first picture we took there!! I really need strong sunlight to see Muff's eyes haha. I wanted to put my Twinkle on a pole to take pic, but the constant pacing on the stones by the joggers scared both of my birds. So, sadly, there weren't any picture of my birdies. =(
But as we explored our way through we found this ledge where ppl get rest there. It was pretty near the reservoir where i could see stones clearly in the water (you can catch that pic in the college below).

The best pic taken at that place. Just not long after we settled on the spot, those kids started their run, monopolising the whole track. Damn sian......

So many of them!! I know with so many wearing red T-shirt, my birdies sure can't take it. So we went to walk the outer round of the place. I jogged with MuFFin and put both birdies back into the carrier just in scare they got scared again. Just then, it rained................. We quickly headed to the nearest pavillion where a few others seek shelter too. Then an auntie had a conversation with us, asking if my schnauzer has flaky skin prob. We told her how proud we were to put her on barf and gave her the Dr B. patties website. Interestingly, she told me that animals should be put on raw food. Haha, impressive! I met an Indian family too. Then i told the father MuFFin is a timid dog. And he went to tell his son, "No sudden movements please." So nice right? Haha.... So while the rain simmered down, we quickly jogged back. We met a 5 month old husky X Chow Chow and it was the first and only dog we met this morning.

He is a timid dog too!!

We met a kingfisher too!
After a breakfast at the market, the rain became so heavy again. I took plastic bag to cover the carrier for Twinkle and Dating while Yida carried MuFFin back in the rain. On the way, we were thinking if we should might as well bath her at my place. A MaMa shop nearby made it possible for us to get the Chandrika soap for her. Thus, Yida brought her to play in the rain. Haha it looked so fun!! I wished i could join in but i have to take care of the birdies. Heehee !

I compiled all pics i took this morning coz i am lazy to think of caption. haha while doing it, i realised it was actually harder to do up this pic.
We are aiming to walk to Pasir Ris Park tomolo where we can rent bicycle cycle muFFin haha!

Very nicely taken pictures!! Its sweet and romantic for both of you to wake up so early for morning walks, make full use of weekends instead of sleeping it away.
