It was my oldest pair of Florida from papillo. Think i bought it 2 years ago or so. Hiaz... This pair of birkies has been the only pair which mold would infest it at this time of the year. The constant wet days would just set off their growing frenzy. So my kind mum always go wash that pair. I guess she didn't know we cannot sun a shoe under the sun after wash as the glue will come off. She washes it on and off as long as she sees any yucky greenish fluffy stuff on it.

So on Tuesday, a rainy morning, i wore that pair since it's e oldest and i didn't want my other birkies to be wet. Frankly speaking, i am not worried about slipping with birkies. They seemed to have good grip on wet floors. Anyway, the moment my butt left the MRT seat, i felt that the Florida on my right foot became loose. I was quite perplexed but didn't bother as i need to really walk with my top speed towards my office relocated at Biopolis. The shoe just got looser and looser till i cannot walk with it. To my horror, the birkies sole had detached from the bottom (which i dunno wat to call it). And this made me late. For every ten steps i walked, i needed to stop and push the sole in place. Given no choice, it was the first time i took the shuttle bus in the morning.

Indeed i was late. My first time being late in the new place. Wahhahahaaa. And most of my company's slippers have been thrown away during the move. =x Although Ju was kind enough to lend me her newly bought Ibiza, i refused. Hahaha... She should be the one doing the commissioning not me la! I paisay. Thanks woman!! Anyway, another colleague passed me the one and only horrendous slippers to go with my outfit that day. I was truely an "Ah Tiong" then. =(


Goodbye my love. She was the most comfortable pair i had.
