I knocked off at the dot just to rush into a cab and hurry back home. Thanks to my mum who bring twinkle down so i could just continue the journey in the same cab to ARC. The cab uncle was rather thankful to me for pointing out that he forgot to on his meter. By then, we were almost reaching Stevens Rd from my office. HAha... think because of that i had a few bucks discount. The uncle was v nice though, saying it's ok that he got some loss than not switching on the meter.
The trip back home was smooth but not the trip to Balestier! The jam was quite frustrating. What to do? My appointment was at 645pm. So the healthy, fully recovered Twinkle is so curious. Trying to find his way out of the carrier and chirping loudly. I dunno if it's me. He seemed to be more attached to me than last time. =) I let him out to hold him tight in my palms since the air conditioner was so powerful. The nice uncle actually helped me raised the temperature.

Happy to be out of the carrier!

Curious again!!
Sorry for the blurred pics. What do you expect in a moving vehicle and a fidgety birdie? Hee
ARC was SO crowded, really! There were some walk-ins that came at 330pm and still waiting. And i still got to see the vet before them!! Poor them!!! You can see the worries for their pets as well as the frustration. I reached at 622pm but i only waited the most half an hour. Everyone in the clinic who saw Twinkle went gaga over him. A pair of Australian mother and daughter adored Twinkle. The mother is really a super nice lady. We spoke quite a bite about parrot keeping. Her sister had one in aussie but flew out one day =(. Oh they came to see the vet as their beloved cat vomit blood and was really weak. When i left the clinic, they were still waiting.
I saw Dr Ly. And i told myself if he's going to grab Twinkle like a chicken, i'm going to say him. Heng! He did coz Twinkle IS well enough to step up. And Dr Ly did a nose to beak thingy to Twinkle. Hahha He has this Shanghai assistant who went gaga over Twinkle. -_- Haha I'm really so glad to hear him annouce that Twinkle has recovered. However, since Twinkle is so skinny, he gave me multivitamin to strengthen my son's immunity. Ok..... And i went home and found out it was actually multivit for children. I am not surprised if i bought it at a much higher price. The total bill costed me $74 bucks + $30 over for cab. Oh, the vit was $37!!!!! Hmm think the vit will last quite a while. He told me the tail bobbing was normal (which i am still skeptical about) and to get a mate for him. Hmmmm..... i'm sure i dun wan to strain on the flock with a new member again! To pump him up, he advised me to roll wholemeal bread into small small balls and feed him. Egg yolk everyday would be good as well. He looked quite shocked when i told him if i should still continue feeding aloe vera juice or feed his vits. I bet he didn't know aloe vera has detoxing properties.... haha ... (maybe he knows la)

For your reference. Alot of my birdie friends told me this could be the good stuff that pull Twinkle back from his death bed. =)
The first thing i did when i reached my destination was to buy wholemeal bread. I knew Twinkle was hungry as he pecked at the fallen seeds on the carrier bottom. It would be a good time to get him to eat the bread. =) FYI, white bread has no nutrtion so if you wanna feed bread to your feathered friends, use wholemeal. I personally hate wholemeal bread! lol Dating isn't a fan to it as well. Think she likes my food better haha.
Back at home, Twinkle kinda miss his cage. While Dating was sticking to me like super glue, Twinkle made himself home in her cage! Sleeping in her tent, nimbling the millet spray! I reckoned she must be tired. So i brought Dating far far away from him to boil hard boiled eggs. Of course, part of my 'fattening Twinkle up" project! I know that to execute this project, i need to stay home everyday. And i missed Muffin too.... =( Really dunno what to do actually...... Sigh
I still need to continue the antibiotics and keep him in the hospital cage for another 3 more days (full ten days in total).
Anyway, YEAH~ Twinkle is well and back for more actions!!! *hopping and jumping around*
