430pm is the time for my eyes to be reborn. We shared a bowl of soup spoon before going up the clinic. The world is that practical. Payment was made before the surgery commence. So on the day itself, i paid $3958.05 plus the $210 i made earlier on. The above sum included the lubricant eye drops, just two boxes of 30 vials each.
One box cost 15 bucks and each vial is only for one use. AND you should be using it every 2 hours for the 1st month. Imagine how many more boxes i need to buy!!

These are the things included in the package. A box of Refresh plus eyedrops, antibiotics eyedrop, sterile swap for cleansing my lids and two eyeshields.
Yida and I was brought to the waiting room where i get 'gowned up'.

LAST day of glasses! I refused to throw away my glasses after that! Told you i grow attached to the things i own.
We were playing around with my glasses and suggested that Yida should try on.

Haha!! Can you imagine how thick my glasses are?

Me being 'gowned' up. I have to mosaic my face coz i'm too fugly! Haha
Ok here comes the part! The nurse came over and cleanse my eyes. Tell you, the strength the nurse use can break a pencil into two!! No one tell her that she should be gentle on eye areas??? You can't reverse wrinkles, can you? Argh!
Getting nervous..... Belinda, the girl before me was called. You hear some laser sound then she's out. "Natalie" the other nurse called. GEEz!!!!!!
I walked into the operating theatre with my blurred vision, probably the last time. Was ushered to a declining chair where i layed upon. The nurses adjusted my head level and a plate like thingy was above my eyes. There was this blinking light in one of the holes.
"Hi Natalie, we have to stick your eyelashes back. So don't move ya?" Doctor said.
The next thing i know is, a huge piece of scotchtape was pasted on my right eye. A scissors came right close to my eye, cutting a slit just for my eye socket. Then he pulled that slit back to my eyelid. There, my right eye was naked without lashes. That's not scary. The scary part was when the suction ring was to be put on. All i could see was a round rubber-like ring coming freaking close to my eye. And when he fitted it onto my eye, i got this real uncomfortable feeling that you have to feel it to fathom. Fitting it was just the beginning, the suction was only completed when the pressure was turned on. At that time, my vision went gradually blurred. But i was told to focus on the blinking red light. How sia? Then the doctor incessantly said, "Don't squeeze your eye, don't squeeze your eye." I don't even know what he meant by squeezing my eye. I was so helpless, lying on the chair, breathing heavily. That was like only 10s. The creation of my cornea flap came next, during my 'blind' period. Again, you have to feel it to know it.
After i regained my sight, i saw this contact lenses like thingy, my cornea, flipping to its other side. Everything came back to me, including the blinking light. Laser was coming next. "Ta-ta-tatatata-ta-tata-tata" was what the sound the machine emitted. Doctor was there saying, "Hold on hold on, don't squeeze your eye (WTH is that?) dont' squeeze your eye, 50%completed ... blah blah blah" A mildly acrid odor can be detected. And it was over. I saw him putting back my cornea flap and a contact lense into my eye. It was meant to hold my cornea flap in place for the next 24hrs. After the op finishes, the doctor asked me to sit over this machine where he could check my eyes. Then i asked him, "What do you mean by squeezing your eyes?" He did this >_<. Haha got it?
I walked out of the clinic after the nurse dripped some antibiotic eyedrop and sticked the eyeshield over my eyes. Vision was semi clear. Hazy to be exact. I should stay out of crowded and dusty places. Yida was so paranoid and insisted and stayed in the shopping mall while he queued at the taxi stand. It was not easy to get a cab. Becoz of my condition, i rather stayed with him then be alone somewhere. But no choice, he was so sterned. I had to stroll along the entrance to and fro till he was next to get the cab.
My eyes teared abit and was puffy. I couldn't really open my eyes wide and dare not move my eyeballs too much. Worry the flap comes off la.. haha.. Yida regliously dripped the antibiotic eyedrop as well as the lubricant eyedrop hourly. Even when i was asleep, he took care of my eyes meticulously. *Thanks dear*
Next day was so much better. No discomfort, nothing just hazy. My left eye sees better than right. Went for the second review. I needed sunglasses so i borrowed my auntie's. But it so not suited my face shape. You know those rounded glasses that the blind in drama always wear? I looked like the sort. No doubt it's POLICE brand but i felt weird in it. Though initially, i wanted to save on buying good sunglasses, i ended up buying a new pair. And it was ex!

Can you guess what brand?
Now i can't wear any makeup for the next one week. And i believe i see halos around the spots of light at night. IT seemed getting better each day :). My eyes are reborned! Thanks to my mum, lending me the sum! Thanks to my dear, taking care of my eyes so carefully. Thanks to the technology we have nowadays!
