MuFFin grow so fast. She was 3.8kg during her second jab. We were so happy for her weight gain. Vet says she's a fast growing pup! Hmm.. what does that mean? Is she going to be very big? She is still not 100% pee tray trained. >-< You give her a bigger space to roam, she will start her pee pee and poo poo anywhere. But a few weeks before, she could sniff her way back to the peetray for her business. I wondered what caused her memory lapse. =< Of coz, when she did wrong, she bear the consequences of being caned by his mum. Luckily, i was not there to see. Sometimes, even in her confine area, she still pee and poo elsewhere. Abit frustrating at times. Hope things will turn better as she grew older. We actually guess if she's doing all these for attention?
A new toy that cost me 12 bucks! But she loved it to the bits! Totally worth it! Teehee... His parents can't stand the consistent addition of her toys. We really need to get a box for her toys now.

We bought a tag from
www.dogzmart.com . Yes, if you take a look at the tags link, all look very very posh and ex! However, we still went ahead. I must compliment the seller. She's a very nice lady with very prompt replies to my queries. The tag was in my mailbox 2 days later. It's pretty small but heavy. Was so worried it will be too heavy for her. Before engraving, we tried on her. The curious nature made her kept looking downwards to check what's the shiny thing under her chin. Super cute!
Oh people, if you are interested in engraving a whole lot of words. Please PLease PLEASE go to the push cart in front of cheers at cineleisure. The uncle there is damn PRO and NICE. Firstly, our tag doesn't have a flat surface to be lying on for engraving. Secondly, the shape of our tag need precise measurements of the whole stretch of word. Well, all and for all for $10 bucks! We were having our private discussion that our ten bucks were so hard to earned!

Been posting about DaTing and MuFFin so much that people would probably think that i neglected my darling Twinkle. No way! I try my very best to distribution my attention to all my pets. No doubt it's hard but i do try. Recently, Twinkle was having SO many pin feathers on her head that slight rubbing hurt. I have to carefully remove everyone of them meticulously without inflicting pain. Luckily, most of them were removed without much pain.

My cute pretty Twinkle is always the most vulnerable one among my pets. Why i say so? At my home, Dating forever bullying Twinkle. Chasing him away or biting his toes. I brought my birds to Yida's house, hoping to build the bird-dog relationship. Well, this is how it goes.
Twinkle, having the timid nature (thanks to me, giving him too much 'protection' as he grew), tried to move alot to get away from MuFFin's inquisitive nose. Moving things turned on the 'prey' drive, thus she started being the predator. Of coz, everything is under supervision. However, Twinkle managed to hop off my thigh. The next thing we saw was Twinkle in Muffin's mouth and under her paws!!!! WTH. That was what we saw. Fortunately, Twinkle only lose a feather, really a feather. There wasn't any struggle or squeak from Twinkle. Why? Is Twinkle really under attack? Well, i don't want to try to confirm. haha
As for DaTing, I am totally amazed by her calmness to the sniffing big black thing. She stayed there while MuFFin checked her out. *Sniff Sniff* She started to defend herself if the nose made her too uncomfortable. For DaTing, i am more worried she bite MuFFin's nose. To my surprise, she opened her beak and tasted the moisture of her nose. MuFFin pulled herself away if the beak gets to the wrong place. After she's done with her new exploration, MuFFin licked DaTing and DaTing happily tasted her saliva! It was total awesome scene! Still, everything should be under supervision. I did catch MuFFin aiming for DaTing's long red tail while she was on her playpen.

I have always want my birds to sleep comfortably without their cages at Yida's house. Been searching for solutions over the past few weeks. DaTing's long tail always got ruffled sleeping in the carrier while the small compact Twinkle has no problem. Still, i think Twinkle don't like to be in the carrier. I really have no choice but my final decision is to keep him in it over the night. He jumps or fly off (you will be amazed by his low-height flying skills!) anything he's on to find Yida. =x The last thing i wanna see is a flatten Twinkle in the morning. So sorry, Twinkle! The best i could give is let him sleep in the bigger carrier.
DaTing's sleep place is a huge challenge for us. We finally decided on a sleeping tent and a PVC playgym. I never take a pic of the full thing but hope u all can picture them from the separate pics.
This is the playgym their daddy made for them a while ago. IT wasn't of great use till we discovered its function. lol
DaTing sleeping tent is of similar thing except the design of the fleece is different and the gcc in the pic is not DaTing. I took it from

So tying a few more loose ropes on the upper PVC will let the sleeping tent hang nicely on the lower twined pvc. Got it? After we got the thing done up, we were still doubting she will sleep there. She did! Be it day or night, as long as i am sleeping on the bed (in her vicinity from the gym) she will stay on the PVC or in the sleeping tent. No jumping down either. One bad thing abt this concept is there isn't a feeding tray around for her to eat while Twinkle has a full tray of yummy seeds in his carrier. Hee... pros and cons.. haha Both of them slept in aircon room!!
The birds usually hang out on either my shoulders or Yida's at his house. Coz there isn't a good place for them to stay on. Not anymore now! I have got the portable perch from GW. Yes, it's horribly overpriced. $50 bucks but worth it. The two feathered kids really stay on it to feast or there to preen. I can safely place ONE of them there and walk off for a while. Actually, this perch brought the two of them closer. As usual, Twinkle panicked as DaTing get closer. We realised for these FEW attempts, Dating is trying to preen Twinkle.

I took half day off on Friday to get the run errands which includes buying the portable perch above. We had our first date since MuFFin's arrival. NYDC was where we went for lunch.

Guess what is it?
It's an owl!! I got a shock to find that fluff ball in the carrier where the boss is feeding it worms. They said someone brought the baby owl here. It probably dropped off from the tree due to the huge downpour on Friday. Heard that they intended to call JBP to pick this poor thing up. *smilez* so nice of them.
