For one good reason, my Toshiba laptop down. Yes, it's toshiba! People who bought this brand 5 years or more ago claim that this is a good brand. I guess it don't live to its name anymore.
Tecra M2V series is the laptop i bought 2 years ago. I had like 6 problems? and went to Toshiba service center around 10 times? Let me elaborate what were those problems.
1) When i first got my laptop, i had problem with the RAM. It keep coming out an error when i want to shut down. It was found out that the RAM was not compatible with my laptop. I made a lot of fuss to get them replace the Twinhead with a kingston.
2) Once they agreed to exchange, the technician said he realised a funny noise coming out from my laptop when it is not connected to the AC supply. It's nice of him to detect it and tell me. So he took it for checks. And realise that it was a motherboard problem!! Geez it was only 3 months from the date of purchase!!!! Being a bitch, i made a big fuss again and stressed that it's only right to get a new set! Apparently, they gave it to me. Ok i was satisfied.
3) Another problem set in when i wanted to transfer my pics from hp to laptop using IR. It don't work!! Darn!! Another trip to the service center. They took a real long time to correct the software problem. All i was told is that must install the windows in a reverse way. x_X i still don't understand why it worked this way. I dun care, as long as my problem is solved.
4) Then my keyboard short circuit.......
5) Then now my keyboard went crazy again
6) Then now my screen got distort and went to blue screen, the window's death screen! I remembered it says wat damage in Bios then physical dumping of memory. o_O
Sigh... service center opens office hours. How to go? Can u imagine how many times i need to take half day leave or time off to bring it down for service? Luckily, my uncle brought it down for me. *Thanks*
Cause of recent problem: Motherboard spoil AGAIN!!!!! RAM faulty AGAIN!!!!!!
End of rants of my lappie. REALLY REALLY REALLY HOPE that i don't have to add on to this list!!!
